Founder & CEO
Dr. Niru Kumar, honored with the Padma Shri in 2021, is a leader in Diversity & Inclusion consultancy. As the founder and CEO of Ask Insights, her work spans over 100 leading corporate organizations and the training of more than 60,000 individuals. Global brands such as Google, Hindustan Unilever, PepsiCo, and Amazon have benefited from her experience, helping them build authentic inclusive workplaces.
Dr. Kumar’s diverse expertise as a Medical Doctor, Executive Coach, NLP Master Practitioner, and Hypnosis Practitioner allows her to deliver personalized inclusion consulting. Her work in coaching global leaders in Inclusive Leadership has empowered companies to unlock Diversity of Thought as a competitive advantage. Dr. Kumar’s personal journey overcoming physical disability continues to fuel her passion for creating lasting, impactful change.

Dr. Akshay Kumar
Senior Consultant & Director
A Ph.D. in Clinical and Positive Psychology, Dr Akshay is Director and senior consultant at Ask Insights. Currently he is also an Affiliate Lecturer at the prestigious London Business School (LBS, UK). He was formerly holding the position of Senior Lecturer and Module Leader (tenured and permanent) at the University of East London.He is an Expert Consultant at Centre for Global Inclusion, USA – Working on the latest edition of Global Diversity Equity Inclusion Benchmarks (GDEIB). Dr. Akshay has been awarded the Emergent Psychologist Award by The National Academy of Psychology and he has also been listed as the one of the top 10 Psychologists of India by LBB India. He is a Clinical Psychologist, trained in several modalities like CBT, Clinical Hypnosis, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Mindfulness, Positive Psychological Interventions and basic Clinical Interventions.
Dr. Akshay is one of the 1st Professors to bring Positive Psychology and The Science of Happiness to Indian Universities, that he developed with Professors of Harvard University, USA.As a part of Ask Insights team, he is a consultant, coach and trainer to leading organizations.
